This was the very first time that the floor board was demonstrated. During this demonstration the short board was used. The demonstration was held at G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre Vancouver, British Columbia and was used by clients, family members and friends.
During the 2010 World Wheelchair Rugby Championships held in Richmond, British Columbia the Floor-Board was used on numerous occasions. Here you see Andreas Collin team Sweden on the first plastic prototype Island Cycling.
Not only were the plastic prototypes demonstrated during the 2010 World Wheelchair Rugby Championships but also the very first Floor-Board was used. The long board was used daily and here Artur Bertram of team Germany is on the long board testing his skills with one of the balance games.
